  1. my apple tv app was working yesterday on both of my sony tvs and today they will not load the apple tv to watch anything. I signed up AMC+ on the apple app and am unable to use that also as apple tv wont load. whats up apple?????

  2. Apple definitely broke some of the connections to Roku TV intentionally. My TCL Roku TV worked previously with the Apple TV app and now all I get is “Verification Failed” errors when trying to log in. There is no fix in sight. All my credentials are correct and I’ve done all troubleshooting possibilities. Pretty disgusting.

  3. Same, my apple tv app on Roku will not work as of today. I’ve tried everything. It seems like the newest update to Apple TV app on roku might have something to do with it. It’s irritating. I have a free trial on for AMC+ thru Apple TV that is due to charge tomorrow and I cannot get in. I don’t have apple anything else. I’ve just used the app on roku since December of last year and it worked perfectly until today. Through hours of trying to fix it I’ve found many complaint of this same issue with no results on an actual fix. Guess my free year that will expire next month doesn’t need consideration as I have no other way to watch it except thru roku. This is garbage

  4. I just redeemed a three month AppleTV+ offer that came with my TCL Roku TV. It will not let me log in on the TV even though that same Apple ID/password works just fine everywhere else. First I checked for updates on the TV, but none were available. Then I deleted the Apple TV app and added it back again. Didn’t help. I have put that password in over and over and over, but it won’t work on the TV. My subscription expires February 27, 2021 and it shows in iTunes so the redeeming worked OK.

  5. I tried all of these and none worked. It’s really strange because I can get some shows and episodes to play, but for whatever reason, some will not.

  6. I have tried every “fix” possible that I have found – here, Roku community boards, Apple support… I can’t play any new content or new seasons to previously watched series. The odd thing is that I can play some of the shows/movies I previously watched. So what gives?? Ugh

  7. Same thing happened with me. I start 1 episode of a series and none of the others play. States network error. Will still play free and paid movies and first episodes of series. Apple support states this is the first time hearing about this problem. Obviously not true as the above shows. Tried all the fixes throughout the internet including the above thread. Nothing worked. Apple says it must be ROKU’s issue. ROKU support not easy to access by phone.

  8. None of these worked for me. I ended up doing a factory reset on my Roku device which resolved the issue. However, the first option did help improve the issues on other Roku devices. Thanks.

  9. I pay for Apple TV I can use it on my Apple devices and my Samsung tv but when I tried loading it on the roku device so my parents could use it when I move 7hours away. After getting the app it won’t even open. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps I’ve seen and it still won’t even open. Why is it available on Roku if it doesn’t even work???????

  10. I have restarted device twice.
I have removed AppleTV and reinstalled it.
Still will not load! It shows loading to 100% and then just goes back to Home Screen!
